Sad news about Hans Thamhain

Just received:

I am sending this message with heartbreaking sadness that we lost a great friend, colleague and scholar.
Hans Thamhain passed away today after suffering from serious damages caused by a bicycle accident on Monday. He was a Professor at Bentley University in Massachusetts, and working on his keynote speech to discuss his new book at the PICMET’14 Conference in Kanazawa in two weeks.
Hans is survived by his wife Ingrid, and their son and daughter. Funeral arrangements will be made next week.
It is a big personal loss for me, and a big loss for all of us in technology management and project management areas.
May he rest in peace.
