Every attempt was made to position the paper/ presentation in the track named by the authors.  Authors/ presenters wishing to change the presentation time and/or sessions have until April 25, 2014 to send their wish to IAMOT iamot@miami.edu  with a copy to Conference Co-Chair yhosni@ucf.edu.

We will try to accommodate as much as possible. The Final program will be Posted by April 30, 2014.

Latest on IAMOT 2013 – IAMOT 2013 Deadline extended

I’m pleased to report that thanks to the efforts of our colleagues the plans for the 22nd annual International Conference on Management of Technology, buy IAMOT 2013, in Porto Alegre, Brazil, on April 14-18, 2013 is in full gear. I am writing to invite your participation and submission of your abstracts by November 1, 2012.

In addition to the technical sessions, the IAMOT and the IAMOT2013 local committee have put an exciting program that includes, 4 pre-conference workshops, 3 excellent keynote speakers, 4 panel discussions of technology related themes with prominent technology managers, economists, and policy makers that were invited to participate, site visits to a variety of technology centers,  and the IAMOT 2013 award ceremony in which we acknowledge the contributions of  awardees in the field of  management of technology for  the year.

Please share this announcement and invitation for submittals with your colleagues and others who may be interested in participation in this timely conference.

IAMOT 2013 is expected to attract between 300 and 500 delegates worldwide, in addition to local participation making it the largest gathering of its kind. Please support our colleagues in Brazil to make this happen.

IAMOT 2013 – Brazil

Dear Friends and Colleagues:

The deadline for submission of the Abstracts for  IAMOT 2013 in Porto Alegre, Brazil on April 14-18, 2013, is fast approaching, October 1st, 2012.

I am happy to report that the program is shaping up very nicely, with a variety of activities. IAMOT 2013 is expected to attract between 400 and 500 delegates worldwide, in addition to local participants, making it the largest gathering of its kind.

In addition to the technical sessions, the IAMOT and the IAMOT2013 local committee have put together an exciting program that includes: 4 pre-conference workshops, 3 excellent keynote speakers, and 4 panel discussions of technology-related themes with prominent technology managers, economists, and policy makers.  In addition to these events, site visits to a variety of technology centers has been arranged.  Also taking place is the IAMOT 2013 award ceremony in which we acknowledge the contributions of awardees in the field of management of technology for the year.

This year’s conference is of particular importance to developing countries to understand how technology and its management changed Brazil, which in a span of few years has become one of the leading economies of the world.

There are a number of opportunities that are available for students including travel grants and the opportunity to compete in the MOT doctoral forum; among others.

ISPIM paper deadline only 6 weeks away

Ian reminds us that the paper deadline for the 23rd ISPIM conference (Barcelona) is just six weeks away. If you want to attend, advice get your submissions in.

The XXIII ISPIM Conference – Action for Innovation: Innovating from Experience – takes place in Barcelona, patient Spain on 17-20 June 2012. Organised by ISPIM, troche and hosted by La Salle University in partnership with Orbita97, this conference will bring together around 450 innovation experts from 55 countries. The three-day programme will include: The Knut Holt Memorial Address by Henry Chesbrough; Industry-Leading Keynote Speakers; Innovation Thought Leaders; Local Luminary Speakers; “Hot Topic” Roundtable Discussions; Facilitated Themed Sessions with Academic and Practitioner Presentations; Workshops; Special Interest Groups; Junior Researcher Development Sessions.
